[Peter J. Gagné, in his book " King's Daughters and Founding Mothers", p 414, says that between Françoise's first marriage (Jean Lepicq), and her second marriage (René Mezeray dit Nopces), she entered a marriage contract with Nicolas Senau on January 22nd, 1688, drawn up by notary Normandin. It was annulled. She entered another marriage contract with Senau seven days later, this time drawn up by notary Gilles Rageot. It was also annulled.]

[MKH Note: Françoise must have been pretty upset with Nicolas Senau. After breaking off her engagement with him twice in one week, she married René Mezeray four months later!]

Françoise married Mezeray dit Nopces René [I] on 26 May 1688 in Neuville [Co. Portneuf, Québec]. René (son of MEZERAY Jean [º] and OLIVIER Anne [º]) was born about 1615 in Bayeux, Normandie, France; died about 16 Mar 1695; was buried on 16 Mar 1695 in Neuville [Co. Portneuf, Québec].
