  Notes	Erasmus Darwin, like his uncle and namesake, went by the name of Darwin all his life. He lived his life in Wauconda, WI as did his son and daughter. His brother, Melvin spent the last twenty years of his life in Wauconda also. They lived on a farm called Maplewood Farm. In his obituary, it states that he came to Cary in May of 1856 when he was about six months old. The family lived previously in Kankakee County before moving to McHenry County.
