Jeanne (known as Jacqueline in some sources) was the daughter of Dreux de Roye and Alix de Garlande.[1] She married three times; first to Pierre de Broc; second to Gilles de Douai (deceased before 1355) with five known children; and lastly circa 1360 to Arnould (V) de Gavre with whom she had a son Arnould (VI). Jeanne died before September 1376.[2]
Research notes
Some sources listing her parents show her variously as an unknown daughter (sometimes as Jacqueline) with her first and/or second marriages only.[3] The comprehensive study by DuLong and Bunot presents the proof for her parentage based on her three successive marriages.
