  Notes	Petronilla van Saksen, also know as Geertruid, and also names Petronella van Saksen (b. circa 1082 - d. 23 May 1144), daughter of Diederik II van Lotharingen and Hedwig van Formbach. She probably married in 1113 with Count Floris II of Holland. Possibly she then changed her name to Petronilla. Probably from devotion to Saint Petrus, because Petronilla referred to the tortoise Petronella of Rome, according to the legend the daughter of Petrus.
