      === Birth ===Jeanne Trudel was born on 22 July 1656 and baptized Jeanne the next day in Notre-Dame de Québec, the daughter of Jean Trudel and Marguerite Thomas. Although she was only 11, and therefore below the legal cannon-law age to marry, they might have received a dispensation for them to marry.
