===Life===On 19 Feb 1354 acts of fealty and homage were delivered by Humbert for Bouligny, Bertrameix, Joudréville, and Amermont, in which his wife Jeanne is mentioned:
:"I Humbert des Ancherins esquire seigneur of Priman and Joudreville in part, announce and make known to all that I hold a fief under conditions of fealty and homage to the very high and very mighty prince monsieur the duke of Calabre, Lorraine & Bar my much feared & sovereign seigneur, because of his duchy of Bar, the towns of Bouligny and Bertrammey provostship of amermont and Joudreville provostship of Briey, the outskirts, the territory & the neighboring areas of the said towns all being under the jurisdiction of the said provostship of Briey in the said duchy of Bar, and also because of damsel Jehanne de Sauvigny my wife, the following ensues."[Archives départementales de Meurthe-et-Moselle, microfilm rolls B350 and B593, 19 Feb. 1534.]

The estimated marriage date for Humbert and Jeanne, as well as the proof of their marriage, is in a document dated 28 Dec 1535. This document shows that the seigneury of Primat, property owned by the family of de Savigny sur Aisne (in the Ardennes), was inherited by Jeanne de Savigny. The following are acts of fealty and homage of Valentin de Savigny which passes the seigneury to Humbert from his wife Jeanne:
:"Valentin de Savigny esquire is seigneur of the said Savigny in undivided ownership with the count of Rethelois “which I [he/Valentin] inherited because of the death of late Gaulchyer de Savigny my late father ... Moreover, the fief that is tenu de moy en fief et homaige [the fief that is held under conditions of fealty and homage to me] under my jurisdiction on account of my aforesaid seigneurial house of the said Savigny by Hubert des Hanchelins [Humbert des Ancherins] because of damsel Jehne de Savigny his wife, that is to say the fief of Priment with the rights the cens [dues] and the other characteristics hereafter specified firstly the house of the said Priment with the yard garden enclosures and all that is contained and may be contained ..."
