It is possible, but more likley the case the couple was married at the time of birth, or this is a second marriage. It also seems unlikley that son Jean entered into a marriage contract at age 14. More research is required. *On the 1672 marriage record, son Etienne declared his parents to be 'of the St. Jean, Angely, Xaintes, France."
