The couple are named as his parents by Jacques on the contract for his second marriage in 1666 in New France. Their marriage record has not yet been identified and so their parents remain unknown. Based on Jacques' birth in about 1605 at Dompierre, they are presumed to have married before that date, likely at or near Dompierre, and to have been born about 25 years prior.
