== Biography ==
Moise Dupuis was born in 1673, in Québec, Canada, Nouvelle France. Moise had gone to Corlaer, New York as a fur smuggler in about 1690. He returned to Canada about 1699. Moise married Annetje (Marie Anne) Christiaansz in 1697 in Albany, New York, British Colony. They had 10 children during their marriage. Moise died in 1750, in La Prairie, Canada at the age of 76.
