He is godfather in La Prairie to: Marie Marguerite Grotton 29 Jan 1701; of Françoise Aupry/Aubry on 5 Feb 1702; of François Monet on 29 May 1702; he was not listed as deceased on the second marriage of his son René (with Madeleine Clément) on 7 June 1718, although this may have been a clerical error since his wife, who was known deceased, was not so listed either.[Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1997]
He may have been the François Dupuis who was godfather of François Augustin Roy on 14 May 1715, and of Marie Catherine Raymond on 8 April 1721. Or these two could have been another namesake.
