It is unclear where she was born, the 1666 census, while being stated as being for Trois-Rivières, was in fact for the ''region'' of Trois-Rivières, the 1667 census making this plainer. Michel Lemay and his wives have 2 of their daughters using the name Marie Madeleine and these 2 daughters each married a Houde.
