Jean Perusse is believed to have been associated with Notre-Dame-de-la-Dalbade parish in Toulouse, France before his arrival in New France. He was believed to have been born around 1666. Jean married Jeanne Barabé before 31 December 1700 somewhere in Canada, New France. He is referenced in a notarial act as late at 1733 by notary Jacques Pinguet.[ {{PRDH|Individu|63052}} ]
