      == Biography =='''Jean Baptiste Noel Toussignant''' was born after the 1681 census. He was the son of [[Tousignan-6|Pierre Toussignant]] and [[Philippe-57|Marie Madeleine Philippe]], according to his marriage record. No baptism has been found for him, he is not the boy listed as 5 years old on 1681 census, from all evidence that was his brother Jean. He is listed as Jean Baptiste on his marriage record, thereafter he used the name Noël (possibly he was born on Christmas day).
